Involving 14 to 16 stages of dyeing and printing, making this vegetable dye-based ajrakh saree is a laborious process that takes 14 to 21 days to complete. Over four centuries old, this awe-inspiring tradition is now maintained in Kutch and in some parts of Rajasthan.
